Overview

We have a leave this site button to keep our users safe by allowing them to quickly navigate away if they feel unsafe using our site.

Currently, our leave this site button directs everyone to https://www.google.co.uk/search?tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=esSCW4LPH4WugQaZsbqoDw&q=cute+baby+animal+memes&oq=cute+baby+animal+memes&gs_l=
However this link is in english. We would like to have international option.

Action Items

  • create a new key and value pair in the /bloom-frontend/messages/shared/en.json and for the rest of the languages.
  • In the same way you fetch the inner text of the button, fetch the url from the messages file in /bloom-frontend/components/layout/LeaveSiteButton.tsx
  • For now just copy and paste the english url and the team will chose different urls at a later date.
